Mordi & Godi launches frozen Brazilian cassava flour and cheese bites, gluten-free, ready to bake
Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside
Cheese snack lovers with gluten intolerance are in luck with the launch of Mordi & Godi frozen cheese snacks. Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, they are naturally gluten-free, thanks to their preparation with cassava flour. It is a typical Brazilian recipe, which the international brand based in Spain and produced in Portugal presents in Alimentaria to expand the menu of restaurant and hospitality establishments.
Cassava flour, also known as tapioca or cassava, is a healthy alternative to wheat flour for everyone, because, in addition to being naturally gluten-free, it is rich in vitamins and minerals. With frozen quality and unique flavour—traditional or garlic and herbs—and textures, the ‘Paos de Queijo’ are ready to prepare, directly from the freezer to the oven. The new snack is included in the phenomenon of ethnic-global cuisine, which includes other well-known examples such as tequeños, empanadas, sushi, açai, tacos and mochis.
With this concept as a base, Mordi & Godi (bite and enjoy in Italian) has set out to turn the popular Brazilian snack into a global phenomenon.
